·                     Standby Control Air
·                     Safety System Control Air
3.Start M/E Main L.O. pump locally and after the pressure has increased to ~ 3.0 Kg/cm2,
start the camshaft L.O. pump locally.

   Ensure the following pressures:
·          ME system Oil Press ~ 3.0

6.Check soundings for following Tanks:
·                     M/E LO Sump tank (record in Engine Movement Book)
·                     Cylinder Oil Tank in use
·                     JCW Expansion Tank
7.Check M/E JCW temperature and maintain ~ 75 deg C.
8.Ensure all indicator cocks and T/C drains are opened.
9.Obtain propeller clearance from bridge. Engage turning gear and turn M/E for ~15mins.
Observe amperage on Turning Gear Motor.
10.Operate each Lubricator by turning handle 40 times.
11.Switch on Oil Mist Detector.
